About
I am a graduated Art Historian with a background in art analysis and authentication, heritage conservation and innovation. I completed both my Bachelor and Master's in Art History with a specialisation in Swiss Art Collections at the University of Lausanne. I also pursued continuing education focused on Northern Renaissance artists and easel painting, both alongside restorers specialised in this period and through Oxford Continuing Education at the University of Oxford.
What truly shaped my practice was a series of experiences at the intersection of art and technology. Through Innosuisse business concept training at EPFL, I was immersed in an innovation environment that brought me into direct contact with recognised scientific experts, market specialists and collectors, particularly around authentication and the technical study of artworks. I worked in this environment for several years, which sharpened both my analytical rigour and my understanding of what collectors actually need.
It is this dual perspective, rooted equally in scientific knowledge and a deep understanding of the art market, that led me to found Triana Temer Advisory in Fine Art. Focused primarily on Old Masters and Modern art, I provide strategic guidance to artists and advise collectors on acquisition and sale strategies, risk management, collection management, provenance research, authentication and due diligence across Switzerland, Paris and London.
In parallel, I remain actively engaged in the art and technology space, both as ArtCentrica's Ambassador and as an advisor to startups working at the intersection of art and technology.
